Inpatient Child & Adolescent Services

Pine Grove’s Child and Adolescent Unit is a state-of-the-art 30 bed facility that offers inpatient treatment for psychiatric and substance abuse issues.

Program design

The unit is secluded on 22 acres of landscaped grounds offering a tranquil and safe environment for recovery. Treatment programming is specifically designed to treat younger populations and offers on site classroom support and tutoring to ensure the continuity of studies needed from the patient’s school.

Our Experts

The professional staff includes board certified child and adolescent psychiatrists and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Additionally a clinical therapist, expressive therapists, nurses, tutors and counselors are on staff.

Acute Care for Your Child

Inpatient treatment is typically offered to those individuals in need of acute care hospitalization.

Outpatient Child & Adolescent Services

Outpatient services are conducted without the need for the child to live on premises, allowing them to receive treatment while still residing in the family home.

Assessments

Assessments are provided by our board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist for a variety of disorders including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, attention–deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and autism.

Medication Management

When appropriate for our child and adolescent patients, the prescribing and monitoring of medications to treat the symptoms of a variety of disorders is provided by our board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist or our psychiatric nurse practitioner.

Therapy

Individual and family therapy is incorporated into all of the child and adolescent services.
