Pine Grove Behavioral Health & Addiction Services, an extension of Forrest General Hospital, opened its doors in the spring of 1984.
A Foundation for Comprehensive Care
Originally, Pine Grove only treated adults in an inpatient setting but today offers a wide variety of programming for patients. Now, Pine Grove is Mississippi’s largest drug and alcohol treatment center for psychiatric and addictive diseases with a variety of inpatient, outpatient, and residential programs. From treating the first patient to serving individuals from all over the world, the evolution of our programs reflects a continuous enhancement of our services, with the introduction of specialized care facilities such as the Professional Enhancement Program, Gratitude Program, Men’s Next Step, and The Women’s Center, Professional Enhancement Program, ensuring that every patient’s journey is supported by a legacy of care excellence.
